I'm an enthusiastic and collaborative designer from Mumbai, India and based in the United States. Most recently, I was designing future aircraft interiors at TEAGUE. I have developed products and experiences for clients in aviation, technology, cosmetics, and non-profit research.
My work combines my background in industrial and transportation design with human-centered design practices and a strong knowledge of human factors and anthropometry. A born tinkerer, my design process focuses on uncovering user needs and endlessly iterating through physical and digital prototypes. I believe understanding materials and manufacturing plays a critical role in design, and I strive to ensure design intent is retained through production.
I received a BFA in Industrial and Product Design from the Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, USA in 2015, where I was awarded the Ximedica Entrepreneurial Scholarship in 2014 in recognition of my student work. I also received an MS in Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Seattle, USA in 2017.
